I received my late diagnosis of autism at the age of 24 after questioning for a long time. I was diagnosed in the same month I qualified as a coach and didn't know at the time that I'd end up putting the two together.
As so many of us do, I developed a special interest in autism and started learning everything I could about it. I was questioning the way my own brain works, and it came out often when I was being coached by others. I began to question what neurodiversity-affirming coaching could look like, and couldn't find the support I needed. So, when I was ready, I created it and Intentional Ltd was born.
I've nurtured a deep interest in career development, guiding my seven-year HR and talent development career across various public and private sectors. With practical know-how, coaching certifications, and specialised autism understanding, I bring rich expertise and unique neurodiversity insights to the workplace. My personal autistic experience, combined with professional HR knowledge and education, positions me to offer supportive, insightful advice. I'm ready to help with career advancement, role changes, or new job pursuits, all personalised to exactly what you need.
My business is carefully structured to enable both my clients and myself to thrive. My small caseload means that I can:
Thoroughly prepare for each session
Reflect after each session, processing my thoughts and planning for future sessions
Provide sessions tailored to every client
Study emergent topics for future sessions, deepening my knowledge and effectiveness as an autistic coach
Seek regular supervision
Meet my own needs, role-modeling self advocacy, and maintaining my wellbeing
My rates support a balanced lifestyle and caseload, allowing me to meet my financial obligations and provide my clients with the attention and care they deserve.
My coaching practice is rooted in the latest evidence and research into coaching, autism, and workplaces.
My practice is also informed by my lived experience of being late-diagnosed autistic.
I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and am committed to continually improving my practice.
My coaching practice is neurodiversity affirming. Your neurodivergence isn’t something to be fixed. We’ll work with your brain rather than against it, and we can adapt if something isn’t working for you.
I often receive feedback that my coaching style is gentle. This doesn’t mean that I won’t challenge your thinking, but that I create a safe space for us to work within, holding your thoughts and feelings with care.
I embrace everyone showing up as they are, acknowledging that you’re a multifaceted human being who is so much more than just autistic.
I accept Access to Work funding for clients.
